1. What are your favorite tools you now have in your personal technology toolbox? Briefly describe a particular activity that you will plan for your students using at least one of these new tools.

Because I am a visual learner, using videos is my favorite tool.
I have been using this tool for many years and I have found out that students get engage easily when they are able to see what we are saying.

2. How have you transformed your thinking about the learning that will take place in your classroom?

Other than transforming my thinking I have corroborated that using Technology is one of the best strategies for teaching.

3. Were there any unexpected outcomes from this program that surprised you?

Unexpected as in WOOOWW yes because now I have more things to try during my teachings

One of the many things that using internet recquires are safety, responsibility and respect. Just because something is found in your computer does not men that can be safe, or truth ful. Getting a good criteria about using digital resources is the most important thing we can teach our students. Values like safety, respect and responsability are still important in this new media. Respect to others,

Always be on the safe side,

Tool #10

At first, I was hesitant to get one of those gadgets, now I have two I Pods and some I Pod Shuffle. I have given as a gift some to my family and friends (good friends) and I am thinking on getting an I Pad. I have Changed my nice Blackberry for my wonderful I Phone. So, I am really into the I-tech. Finally, schools are getting the idea: Technology is a wonderful teaching tool and we as teachers have to take advantage of that. Downloading specific topics to fulfill specific needs of our students can help us save time and can motivate our students to get engage in the learning process.

Tool #9

Visuals are an important teaching tool. Jing has a great variety of visuals and When students have the opportunity to express through images they can become more confident when they have to present a topic or share a personal idea. Also, communicating with people located far away can help our students to have an ample criteria of costumes and different ways of thinking. I have used Skype to be closer to my family and friends making my life more comfortable and easy.

WOW, finally I have learned to do this.
I decided to include these two videos because it gives my students an opportunity to discuss about the story and get their own conclusions.

Tool #7

This tool is one of the most exhausting because of the time consuming and the editing. I find these kind of technology interesting to use in my classroom since I have been using some video stories with my adult students during my Spanish class and they have found those videos really engaging and interesting. Normally, I use stories in Spanish but I think of using them in English.

Tool #6

I use a PBWorks Wiki page for my Spanish students. There my students can re visit, and see all the topics we are going to learn during our class. If one of them is missing something from our class they can visit the PBWorks page and tada all the information is there. Also, they can visit and see what other Spanish teachers are doing and compare. PB works has been and excellent tool for my teaching.
